Travelling With Children And Infants

Can I Travel With My Infant?
Infants over 7 days old and under 2 years in age are welcomed on all flights, subject to seat availability. A maximum of two infants are allowed on each flight. If booking more than one infant, an adult must be booked to accompany each infant. Infants travel free of charge provided they do not occupy a seat. If you require a seat for your infant normal fares apply.

Can My Child Travel Unaccompanied?
Children aged over 8 years and younger than 12 years may travel as an 'Unaccompanied Minor' subject to seat availability. All bookings for unaccompanied minors must be made by telephone or in person and will require an authorisation form to be completed and signed. Can I Take My Child's Stroller / Car Seat?
Yes - This is all counted as part of each paying passenger's baggage limit.

Baggage

What Can I Take With Me?
Each passenger is entitled to a 15kg baggage allowance, this is increased to 25kg for those who have purchased the Flexifare option. Infants not occupying a seat do not have a baggage allowance. Baggage that is especially bulky or large (eg surfboards, skis and bicycles) must be notified at time of booking and is accepted only if space permits. Depending on space, excess and oversize baggage may be sent on a later flight. 

Can I Take Animals?
Pets and animals are only accepted for transport if approved and advised for travel in advance. Charges for animal transport are the same as freight.
What Can I Take On The Plane?
You may take a small bag with you that will fit under your seat and is less than 5kgs. Any baggage heavier than this or that will not fit under your seat will be required to travel with your checked-in baggage. Carry on baggage will be weighed as part of your total baggage.

Can I Take Valuable / Fragile Items?
Valuable and fragile items are carried solely at the passenger's risk unless air2there.com has accepted them for travel in writing. Valuable items include cash, shares, important documents, jewellery, antiques or any other item of similar value. Commercial goods, samples and tools of trade are classified as freight. 

What Can't I Take With Me?
Dangerous goods such as ammunition, sharp items, compressed gases, flammable items,and poisons may not be carried. Please contact air2there.com to clarify any doubtful items prior to check-in.

What Can air2there carry?

Pick up and delivery?
Can be arranged if required at additional cost

Packaging
All freight and goods must be properly packaged so as not to leak or cause damage to other freight or be damaged in transit.  Labelling must be present and clear showing contact address and details for consignee and consignor.

Liability and Insurance
Insurance for damage or loss of any kind is the responsibility of the consignor. 

Charges
$5 per kilogram + gst. Minimum charge $25 + gst

Reservations

Do I Require A Ticket?
No - air2there.com is ticketless, except when train travel is a component of the air document. At check-in you may be required to show personal identification, so please ensure you bring something suitable with you such as a passport, driving licence, photo ID card or similar. 

Can I Change A Reservation Already Made?
It may be possible depending on the class of fare and the time before the original flight please refer to terms and conditions for detaled information.

Are Your Fares Refundable?
air2there.com fares are non-refundable, however air2there.com will hold the balance of funds for 6 months from date of cancellation for future use with air2there.com. 

I am a Travel Agent: Can I Book My Customers With air2there.com?
Absolutely! Please contact us to setup a Travel Agent account first.

Travelling With air2there.com

When Do I Need To Check-In?
In order to keep all of our services running on time we request that all passengers are available for check in 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time stated on the flight confirmation. Once check in closes and boarding commences carriage may not be possible.

Where do I report or check-In?
Blenheim/Marlborough Airport: air2there counter on the right hand side near the main door as you enter the terminal hall.
Kapiti Airport: 231 Kapiti Road, [near the control tower].

Nelson: air2there terminal - Large cream cloured airport building to the left of the old Nelson airport terminal.

Palmerston North: - Main airport terminal.

Parking at Paraparaumu Airport
Short and long term car parking is provided by the airport company adjacent to the terminal.
Longer term valet parking is available on enquiry.
